ROAD provides home damage assessments to determine the building material needs for each disaster survivors home to become a home again.
Assessments include photo documentation, home sketches, and a room by room assessment of the building materials needed to make all the repairs necessary. ROAD assessors are experienced in differentiating between disaster damage and deferred maintenance.
The damage assessments are used to determine funding amounts needed by the Long Term Recovery Committee’s Unmet Needs group. Once funded, the assessment becomes the Scope of Work that is published on our project map ready for a volunteer team to complete.
